Our Founders and Vision
Snackster was founded by Vishal Wadhwani in collaboration with Sony Try and Krunal Patel. Our vision was simple yet ambitious: to blend the reliability and consistency of large retail operations with the accessibility and warmth of local “mom and dad” stores. This unique approach has been at the heart of our brand’s success.
Our Inaugural Store
In May 2023, we unveiled our first Snackster store at Carlaw Park Student Village – The University of Auckland, nestled along Stanley Street in Auckland. From the very beginning, our goal has been to revolutionise the convenience experience. We aimed to provide our customers with a wide-ranging selection, including pre-packaged sandwiches, wraps, heat-and-eat meals, coffee, milkshakes, smoothies, cold drinks, confectionery, and even grocery – all conveniently available under one roof.
Our inaugural store served as the cornerstone for Snackster’s future growth, setting the standard for what our customers could expect from us: an exceptional crave stop that combines convenience, variety, and exceptional service.
